Me and my family are back from are Ohio trip.

The weather was not so good and we had a lot of mud.

We made a lot of sawdust to stay on top of it.

We also made some very nice carvings.

The few people that came to wade in the mud loved them.

Here are some pictures of the work.

Now we have many great carvings at Figaro Farm on Rt. 619 in

Green Ohio and in Pa. on Rt. 115 south of Blakeslee.

I hope it dries out and people get out to look at are work.

The 3 rd 4 th and 5 th I was at the Mifflin County Youth Fair.

Show times were 5 , 7 , and 9 pm .

A lot of people came to the fair .

A lot of people watched the show.

A lot of people liked it.

Seven years running and they still love the show.

I just drove from Caro Mi. to Reedsville Pa. last night

and today. I got the laundry done and if all goes well I

will be fishing in the morning. There are some nice

rivers and streams here in Mifflin County Pa.

We will be on the hunt for trophy brown and rainbow trout!

Maybe tomorrow we will have a fish story!

Here is what was carved in Caro this pasted week.

The eagle was for a friend of mine in Ohio.

The wood in Mi. was a little tuff but I meet with a wood

guy who said we will have sweet wood next year.

The rain held off until I was done.

Everybody I happy. The customer,the neighbors, the workers,

the mail man, the friends of the neighbors, and on and on.

The people are all very happy with there carvings.

I had to take a few days off because I hurt my shoulder.

But I have been busy this last week.

Here are some pictures of the carvings.

The big eagle piece could be the best on site carving of the year.

They are so happy and I still have to carve a deer in the bottom.

It's been a little slow this spring. But here is the first on site stump

Carving of the season. It is oak an tree and is 12feet tall.

Carving on the road is getting closer to home.

The I 476 run is becoming quite common. The traffic on 22 is a bad scene but we made it to work every day.

I thought that this carving would take four days but the weather was nice and I did not run the saws into any hardware.

That was the first time in a long time I did not hit hard ware in a yard tree.

So three days to do this carving. That does not leave a lot of time to set the saws down.

My client was very happy! And that's what it's all about! Here are some pictures of the stump and the carving.

Well we got back from are road trip a week ago and I am just getting to a new blog.

On the way back from Ohio we stop to visit Randy " The Wizard" Rupert's new shop in Punxsutawney, PA.

We made a pile of sawdust while we were there and here is the end result.

It was a lot of Hickory stick for two days of carving.

And there was a little hillside to deal with.

The rain held off for the most part. Day two was just cloudy.

The customer and the neighbors are all quite happy.
